how do guitar wireless systems work?
i want to get a wireless guitar system so i dont need a cord. i was wondering how exactly they work? i kno that its plugged into my guitar but i dont understand how it would be hooked up through my effect pedals and then to the amp. i have a pevey vypyr 30 amp and im looking at theAudio-Technica ATW-251 Freeway VHF Guitar Wireless System if that helps. could someone just tell me how ii would hook this up and how it works please?
The wireless system is nothing more than a fancy cable. Normally, you'd plug one end of a cable into your guitar and the other end into your first effect unit, yes? Now do exactly the same but with the wireless system instead. The guitar plugs into the wireless transmitter (usually with a short cable), and the receiver plugs into your first effects unit (or your amp if you don't use effects).
