Space Rack

how long can you keep spices in a spice jar for?
So I had spices on my space rack for about a year. The jars are made of glass and sealed pretty tight. How long are the spices in there good for?
I like to replace mine every 18 months or so. Spices don't go bad, they just begin to stale and lose vibrancy. Whole spices will last about 50% longer than ground.

24 IO Core 96K PCI Audio Interface (PCIe) $1419.99 Now compatible with PCIe machines! The MOTU Audio 24I/O interface fulfills the promise of host-based hard disk recording: to record, edit, mix process, and master multitrack recording projects entirely inside the computer. It provides 24 high quality, 24-bit/96kHz analog inputs and outputs in a cost effective, single rack space package, allowing you to connect and record from 24 simultaneous analog sources. The 24I/O uses the same PCI-424 card that comes with the 2408mk3. You can connect up to four audio interfaces to a PCI-424 in any combination to create a system that fits your needs. MeteringThe 24I/O's front panel is essentially a dedicated meter bridge for your hard disk recording system. Audio activity for every input and output is represented by its own five-segment LED bar graph. Front Panel Power SwitchUseful in the unlikely event you wish to turn off your 24I/O. An interesting fact about MOTU Audio interfaces is that they are hot swappable. This means you can power off, plug-in, add and remove interfaces without turning your computer off or restarting. In fact, if you already have a 2408mk3 or other PCI-424 system, adding a 24I/O is as easy as plugging in an AudioWire cable. 24-bit analog TRS Input and OutputThe 24 analog inputs and outputs are professional-grade TRS (balanced/unbalanced) connectors operating at either -10 dB or +4 dB. The input level can be switched via software in banks of eight inputs. In addition, CumixDSP provides continuously variable input trim with up to 12 dB boost per channel. Word Clock I/OThe 24I/O audio interface provides industry standard word clock sync on a single BNC connector tht can be programmed for input or output via software. When operating as a word clock input, the word connector allows the 24I/O to synchronize smoothly with today's digital audio studio. When operating as a word clock output, the word connector can be used as a master clock to drive other digital devices in your studio, such as a digital mixer. |

ACD100 AC Power Distribution $564.95 The ACD-100 AC Power Distro is an extremely compact, low cost rack-mount power distribution system that is ideal for touring PA systems, touring musical and theatrical acts, mobile recording facilities, on-location film and video shoots, etc.-any situation where AC power must be distributed to multiple circuits and a hard-wired, built-in system is missing, inadequate, or impractical. Use of a Power Distro is cost-effective, both in terms of the convenience it offers and the elimination of bulky and expensive parallel feeds and related connectors. 100 amp total load Five 20 amp, 120 volt circuits, each with a status indicator Oversized buss bars 4 buss design accommodates 120V or 240V single phase, or 208V three phase power High-inrush magnetic circuit breakers Varistor spike and surge protection Compact two rack space package Most economical product of its type The ACD-100 can handle up to 100 amps of incoming power, distributing it to five 20 amp, 120V circuits. Each circuit has a neon status indicator that lights up when its breaker is turned on, and a 20 amp duplex outlet on the rear panel. The circuit breakers used in the ACD-100 are high-inrush magnetic types designed specifically for critical data processing and broadcast applications where nuisance tripping cannot be allowed. They have a pulse tolerance* of 10 times the rated current, or 200 amperes. This makes them particularly suited for use with power amps and other devices with high-reactance loads, since the high pulse tolerance will keep them from tripping falsely at the instant power is applied or on musical peaks. If a breaker should trip, it can be reset as soon as the overload is corrected-there is no cool-down delay time required. Temperature compensations which affect fuses and inexpensive thermal breakers are not a concern. The breakers are of the highest industrial grade, UL/CSA listed, precise in operation and rugged in construction. They may be used as on-off switches for the five circuits. T |

LLS2XLR Line Level Shifter Analog Signal Converter $96.99 Solve your 10dBV to +4dBu problems, now! What do you do when you need to connect a low volume 10dBV output (like cassette deck, CD player or synthesizer) into a high volume, +4dBu input (like a multi-track recorder or DAT machine)? M135 Smart Gate Pedal $118.99 If you're addicted to the indispensable juice of a high gain amp or a string of stomp boxes, you need this pedal. Because along with your hot-wired tones, you're probably getting a generous helping of noise. Equipped with three selectable types of noise reduction, Hiss, Mid, and Full, the Smart Gate bites down on sizzle and hum but lets the smallest detail of your playing through. With its uncanny ability to sense precisely when -and how fast -to engage, this little genius will never get in your way, so you can wring every last bit of sustain out of that chord without being cut off. Originally designed by Scholz Research and Development, the Smart Gate has been completely updated with a hardwire bypass, precise threshold trigger, and new cleaner circuitry. Open or closed, it adds virtually nothing to your signal.MXR hasalso squeezed this baby down from half space rack size to a slender stomp box, leaving plenty of room underfoot for your newly tamed effects. Controls: Footswitch toggles Effect On/Bypass (red LED indicates on) Trigger Level knob allows adjusting the threshold level of gate Three-position switch selects type of noise reduction: Hiss, Mid Range, or Fuji Gate LED shows level of noise reduction Power: Single 9 volt battery or Dunlop ECB-003 AC adapter (not included). |
