^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Is only the main part i didn't incluude the CD and everything else because of lack of space. But would this be a good computer for gaming and such? I think it would.
Sounds like a decent computer. Remember that your computer is only going to be as fast as its weakest link. In you configuration it would be you OS and processor. Trust me do not get media center. If you ever want to upgrade you have to do a clean install and it will run slower that home or pro. Also alienware makes good computers but they are also the most expensive. The cheapest and best way in my opinion is to build one yourself if you know how. Also what type of video card do you have. I dont see one listed above. And what are you going to be using this computer for? My advice would be to pick up a copy of computer shopper and price out the same system with some other manufacturers. Try systemax or falcon nothwest. Also another thing to consider is that alienware is now owned by dell. Take that as you wish...and no matter what advice you get take it with a grain of salt. Almost everyone has their bias. Whether it is amd, intel, nvidia, ati, etc. Also check out tomshardware.com, they are a great resource. Again stay away from media center. Good luck.
