Where would I find a SERVICE manual for an antique sewing machine?
Where would I be able to find a service OR repair manual for a antique Kenmore sewing machine, preferably model # 117-812? I have the instruction manual but can't find a service manual to save myself. Please help.
Check with the Yahoo group "vintagekenmoresew". Someone may have the one you want, and they are a good source of information and parts. I have a #117.959 and it is pretty basic so I don't have a service manual. At least you do have the instruction manual - it should tell you the oiling points and such. The other option is a WHITE service manual as that series was built for Sears by White (the 117 prefix denotes that it was built by White). HTH
