The difference between the altitude and perpendicular bisector is that the altitude starts in one corner and is drawn normal (90deg) to the other side. The PB is 90deg through the center of one side of the triangle, regardless if this line extends through the opposite corner of the triangle.
A median is just a line that goes from a vertex to the center of the sides of the triangle, without necessarily being orthogonal (90deg) to the side.
