Can I Use A 15 Male To RCA Cable On A Non HDTV?
I bought the cable online because it didn't say it had to be an hdtv... so I have it here and it connects to the back of my laptop but won't show my laptop on the tv because I don't have a flatscreen... any ideas?
For an inexpensive VGA to composite converter to work (assuming it is a converter), you might need to set your screen resolution on the laptop to 640x480.
The composite output on my old laptop would still work with higher resolutions (like 1024x768), but external converters might not.
