Pro audio question: Does anyone know if you can safely run 3-pronged cables through a 2-prong outlet?
I know converters exist, but are they safe for high end audio equipment?
I have a digi 002 rack, grace M101, and great river pres.
would a power conditioner help me?
No the third prong was designed to be grounded just in case there were slight surges or worse faults in the power circit.

In otherwords have that ground keeps the current away from your equipment when it faults
