How can I reduce the volume on a channel in Pro Audio 9?
I can't understand the user's manual.
I thought that I could reduce the volume on a channel on one file by going into console view and pulling down the lever on the offending channel.
That rendered all of my files completely mute, so I had to uninstall and reinstall the whole program.
All I want to do is reduce the volume of the string section so I can hear the solo.
This sounds like all MIDI channels are being affected by a single slider. My gut instinct is that they are ganged together within the program, or the program is using the same MIDI channel for different instruments; physical or virtual within your computer.
I saw a reference to "performance mode" on the Roland / Pro Audio site, but I'm not familiar with the product
