Where can we find monoaural power amplifier circuit class AB with at least 40W power rating using IC's not transistors?
And with the given circuit, how can we solve for the maximum and minimum power rating?
Technically, it is a Quasi-AB amplifier IC, but look at the LM3875 chip. It puts out 56W and many DIY amplifier makers have tweaked it to sound pretty good. The only thing is that a decent heatsink is needed because at max tilt, it puts out loads of heat.
You can easily determine the maximum power rating with this chip because it is just a simple non-inverting operational amplifier design. If you have a basic understanding of op-amps, it will take you less than 5 minutes to figure out what you need to know.
