What is the differences betwen midi controller and piano?
Hi,
I was wondering what the difference is betwen a midi controller keyboard and a piano or electronique synthetiser. Someone told me they are completely different tools whitout being able to specifically tell me on which aspects.
Can you guys tell me what are the differences based on your personal knowledge, experiences or readings?

A piano uses strings and hammers! A midi uses electronics to reproduce sounds. There is nothing even remotely comparable other than they both use keys.
