What kind of cable do I need to connect a mp3 player to a microphone?
The connection goes in the microphone stand and just says "line in".
It's a 1GB Hello Kitty MP3 Player with a USB 2.0 cable. I'm trying to connect it to a kid's microphone w/ stand. The microphone says you can sing along with you MP3 player if you connect it to the "line in" connection. I'm not sure on anything else - which is why I don't know what cable to get.
It would really help if you told us the make and model of the equipment you want to connect the player to.
An mp3 player can normally connect to a "line in" if you have the right adapter cable. An mp3 player output cannot connect to a microphone.
We really need to know what you are trying to do.
