how do i hook up a graphic equalizer to my Sony HT-DDW900 receiver?
i have been looking around for different EQ's to buy because i really want one to make my speakers sound better and i want to know what jacks in the back of my receiver i would have to plug the EQ into. the receiver has a MD/Tape out jack and i read that might be where i hook it up to but im not too sure.
"Make sure the "MD/Tape Monitor" circuit, or whatever Sony calls it, is engaged."
This switch that Rocket is talking about will be on the EQ, itself.
Don't know who gave me the 'thumbs down' vote, but I am correct. The EQ unit will have a button marked 'tape monitor' or something like it. Not engaging it means it will be bypassing any EQ settings that have been made on the EQ. This ain't my first rodeo.
