Elite Core
Xbox 360 Core/Premium/Elite?

Im getting a 360 for christmas and im not sure what to get.
What does the premium have that the core doesn't?
Does the core still have xbox live?
And what does the Elite have that the premium doesnt?

Thanks in advance to anyone who answers.

The core has been replaced by the Xbox Arcade.

For a detailed comparison go to the link below.

The Elite package contains:
Black console and accessories.
Wireless controller
A 120 GB harddisc.
Wired headset.
Ethernet Network cable
Standard and High Definition cable
HDMI cable

The premium Package is missing the following from the Elite:
White console and accessories.
Only 20 GB Harddisc.
No HDMI cable.

The Arcade is missing the following:
No harddisc, but 256 MB Memory Unit.
No Headset
No Ethernet cord.
Only Standard Definition Video cable.
Due to the missing harddisc, no Xbox 1 games are playable.
If you own an ethernet cord, the Arcade is able to go Live like every other Xbox console, too.

Basically you can choose wich one you need to buy if you ask yourself the following:
If you just want to play and don't go online or download demos, get the Arcade.
All games will run without a Harddisc (although some online modes will require a HDD).

If you are a dedicated gamer, you get the Premium package, as some games require the Harddisc for some online game modes. Also you can download game enhancements and large demos.

If you are a gamer and are enthusiastic about the Video Marketplace and wnat to download a lot of High definition Movies and TV shows, you should get the larger Harddisc in the Elite console.
