A journey from tape to Digital Audio Workstation PC
In ancient times we were the habitual of Tap that means we recorded to tap but in modern era the whole world has moved towards the Digital Audio Workstation PC. DAW PCs has become the centerpiece of the modern recording studio. Music has also evolved very much in the last ten years, and with the right hardware and software, DAW PCs can record as many simultaneous tracks of audio as the input device supports.
Digital Audio Workstation s are a great new piece of kit for any audiophile, music lover or technology addict. Basically DAW PCs are not only a high spec machine but they also come with everything you will need to start recording and mixing music. Some Custom Digital Audio Workstation PCs can record up to 64 tracks of audio at the same time, more than adequate for most recording sessions. Most music today is recorded on a Digital Audio Workstation (DAW), the heart of which is a computer and recording software.
There is no end to the choices of Custom DAW PCs applications on the market, most of which these days will feature some form of sample library and/or virtual instrument dedicated to making beats. Many of these programs are designed for much wider audio production needs such as multi track audio recording, in depth editing and audio processing, mixing, mastering and so on. Moreover, it has also given the power to DJ using things like an online beat mixer, DAW software as well as plenty of DJ programs for PC. Not only do these amazing DJ software programs make it easier than ever to learn the DJ craft, but the effects, quality and beats that you can make with these programs is nothing short of awesome!
The DAW PC should have a good processing speed and LOTS of memory. The sound interface converts the analog signal from a microphone and instrument cable into digital information that your computer records. Microphones are also important because they impact how faithfully you capture sounds. Condenser mics are good for recording quieter sounds like acoustic instruments and vocals. Another essential part is an audio interface which purpose is to get music from an outside analog source and to convert it to digital information that is recorded onto the computer hard drive.

AR1215 Line Regulator $549.95 The 15 amp AR-1215 AC Line Voltage Regulator is intended to protect audio, video, computer and other electronic equipment from problems caused by AC line voltage irregularities-sags, brownouts, or overvoltages that can cause sensitive digital equipment to malfunction, or, in extreme cases, to sustain damage.
