How do I add a compresser to to dj set up?
I am currently using the following items: Mixer,Crossover,Effects processer,Equalizer, two seperate amps f(1 for Mids/Highs 1 for Lows) was told that a compressor would help improve my sound. Their is a limiter on the crossover.
I agree with the answer that has already been given, However, I also want to say that I don't generally like compressors when the music isn't being played at a low volume. If you've got good equipment that you can play at a decent volume then I have serious doubts that a compressor will be an improvement. You will probably be able to hear 'more' instrumentation in your music, but that isn't necessarily better.
