Is gemsound a good brand for a Dj?

some1 is trying to sell me the gemsound CDM-150 DUAL CD player/mixer for $169 is this set worth the money and is it user friendly this will be my 1st set but i have praticed with my friends Gemini 3600 cdm.

also could i stick a headphone (from a diffrent brand) into a set from a diffrent brand?

ex. Allen and heath headphones into a gemini set

I think Gemsound sucks. If you aren't going to be using it to make money and buy something better, I would not even bother.

The only problem that you might have with headphones is if the the mixer has a 1/4 slot and the headphones have a 1.5mm plug or vice/versa.
